Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 11, 2026
Plain language, because that's how we do everything: your claim work stays on your device, and we collect the minimum needed to take payments, sign you in, and answer your messages. We never sell your information. Ever.
Who handles your information
Lima Charlie is operated by Lima Charlie Vets LLC, a Nevada limited liability company, doing business as Lima Charlie. That company is responsible for the information described in this policy.
Your claim work stays on your device
Your scan answers, symptoms, condition names, statements, and journals are stored in your browser's local storage - they are not sent to or stored on our servers. That's a deliberate design choice for the most sensitive information in this product. It also means: if you clear your browser data, that work is gone. Use ⚙ → “Download my progress” to keep a backup file you control.
The one exception, and only if you ask for it: if you join the weekly check-in, the form sends us a small progress summary along with your email - which step you are on, how many tasks you have ticked, and how many conditions are on your list. That is what lets the Sunday email be about your actual claim instead of generic advice. It never includes condition names, symptoms, statement text, documents, or anything you have written. If you never subscribe, none of it leaves your browser at all.
We also record where you signed up - the results page or the blog - andwhich emails in the welcome series you have already been sent. Both exist so we do not send you the wrong thing: a blog reader never receives email about a scan they did not take, and nobody receives the same lesson twice.
What we do collect
- Purchase records: when you buy the workup, we store the email you used at checkout and the payment session ID so your purchase can be restored on any device. Payments are processed by Stripe - we never see or store your card number.
- Sign-in: magic-link sign-in stores your email (and first name, if you share it) with our authentication provider (Supabase). No passwords exist to be stolen.
- Messages you send us: feedback and contact-form messages, plus the email you optionally include, so we can reply.
- Weekly check-in list: your email, your first name if you give one, and the progress summary described above - the step you are on, task counts and a condition count, never condition names. Stored so the Sunday email can be about where you actually are. Every send carries a pause link and one-click unsubscribe, and unsubscribing stops it immediately.
- State of residence: before any purchase you confirm your US state, and we keep a timestamped record of that confirmation - state availability rules require it. If the paid workup isn't available in your state and you join the waitlist, we store your email and state so we can tell you when it opens.
- Basic analytics: anonymous, aggregate page-view counts (Vercel Analytics) to see which tools help. No advertising trackers, no cross-site tracking, no selling data to anyone.
Cookies
We set functional cookies only: one that unlocks your purchased workup on this device, and one that remembers your display settings. Signing in also stores a session token in your browser. No advertising cookies, ever, and nothing that follows you to another site.
Who we share data with
Only the service providers that make the product run: Stripe (payments), Supabase (sign-in and purchase records), Resend (transactional email), and Vercel (hosting and anonymous analytics). Each receives only what its job requires. We do not sell, rent, or trade your information - to anyone, for any reason.
Deleting your data
Want your account, purchase record, or messages deleted? Contact us from the email you used and we'll take care of it. Your local claim work you can delete anytime by clearing your browser data (download a backup first if you want to keep it).
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we'll say so plainly on this page and update the date at the top.
